gINT CERTIFICATION

gINT Level 1 Certification

gINT Software is pleased to offer a valuable gINT Level 1 certification program. There are several excellent reasons for considering certification:

• Certification provides a commonly accepted measure of user knowledge.
• Certification provides a structured path for studying the program.
• The process of successfully completing the certification examination provides a higher level of competence. This leads to more efficient use of the program, which generates cost savings and higher quality reporting for the office.
• For independent consultants, gINT Certification tells your clients that you are highly qualified to provide gINT services.

To receive certification, you must pass an examination that can be quickly downloaded below. The examination requires that you build a project database, create a log form, perform input, and output the final logs. You must also create a material symbol and a lookup list. gINT University courses present all the information you will need to pass the examination.

The examination materials that you will download are made up of two files: a PDF document that outlines the exam and explains the application procedure, and a library file in which you will create the log form, symbol, and lookup list. There is a fee of US$95 (US$45 for full-time students) to submit the certification application. In the event of submittal of a failed exam, you can retest at no charge.

Important: Even if you do not wish to obtain certification, we strongly recommend taking the exam. In the PDF file that you will download, there are notes that point you to the appropriate references to complete the exam. The certification is an excellent, self-paced, personal training exercise. There is no charge for downloading and taking the exam, only for submitting the application for certification.

All three of the examinations below are the same. We have made different versions to accommodate varying units and paper sizes among our clients in different countries. You can submit any one of them for certification. The files are a self-extracting Windows archive. Merely run the file and point it to the folder into which you wish to extract. Then print the certification documentation for further instructions.
