GEOSTRUCTURAL ANALYSIS SHEETING DESIGN
GeoStructural Analysis Sheeting Design is used to design sheet pile structures. It provides you with tools to analyze and determine pile embedment lengths (fixed or hinged toes), anchor loads, pile bending moments, and internal forces. You can easily evaluate internal forces on a sheet pile structure using this program as well as structure geometry at any stage in the construction. Output from Sheeting Design can be used within GeoStructural Analysis Sheeting Check to predict performance during construction and the service life.
Key Features
- Specify surface terrain and subsurface stratigraphy in front of, behind, and beneath the sheet pile wall or structure
- Define soil layers with different properties using either project-specific data or the built-in soil parameters database of common soil types (USCS)
- Import soil parameters from gINT
- Apply user-defined forces and moments to sheet pile walls or structures
- Apply an unlimited number of surcharge loads to sheet pile walls of varying configurations, including trapezoidal, strip, and concentrated load distributions
- Model water conditions both in front of and behind the sheet pile wall or structure, including artesian water conditions
Analysis and Design Capabilities
- Analyze performance throughout staged construction
- Analyze soldier piles and multiple levels of struts
- Analyze for effective or total earth pressure conditions
- Analyze sheet pile wall design based on safety factors or limit state design methodology
- Evaluate external stability of a sheet pile wall or structure using GeoStructural Analysis Slope Stability
- Analyze for earthquake effects, including Mononobe-Okabe and Arrango methods
