PROJECTS CREATED WITH DATA TEMPLATES POSTED BEFORE 06 MAY 2001 WILL NOT WORK WITH THE CURRENT FORMS. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ************************************************* REVISION HISTORY ================ 06 May 2001: Total overhaul of the existing forms and database structure and addition of many new forms. Run the downloaded IL_DOT.EXE from any folder. 2. It will ask you for the location of gINT. Supply the appropriate folder (usually c:\program files\gintw). 3. It will ask you if you wish to make a backup. This is usually unnecessary for this installation but it will not hurt and will provide an extra margin of safety for certain configurations. 4. Below we will name the folder you installed into as "gINTW". The files will located in the following folders: IL_DOT.GLB: gINTW IL_DOT.GDT: gINTW\DATATMPL IL_DOT.GPJ: gINTW\PROJECTS IL_DOT.GSC: gINTW\DATATMPL For example, if you installed the files into C:\PROGRAM FILES\GINTW, the GPJ file will be located in C:\PROGRAM FILES\GINTW\PROJECTS. If you want the files in different folders, move them using Windows Explorer after installation. ************************************************* SPECIAL NOTES: 1. The IL_DOT.GLB library file is meant to be used by itself. DO NOT MERGE into your library. When you are working on a IL DOT job, anywhere in gINT, select the File:System Properties menu item and change the library file to IL_DOT.GLB. When you want to work on a non-IL DOT job, switch back to your usual library using the same means. 2. The name that appears under "Division of Highways" to the lower right of the DOT logo is the company name that appears in the Help:Company Information dialog. 3.
