SPECIAL NOTES:
1. With gINT, each report stores the printer to which it will output. We have set up these forms to work with our printer. When you use these forms for the first time, if the assigned printer does not exist on your system, the program automatically substitutes your default Windows printer. If you wish the B-Size form to output to your default printer, and the printer is capable of 11x17" (also called Tabloid or "B" size) paper, everything will work fine. If not, you must change the printer associated with the form. To do so:
· In gINT move to the Reports application group.
· Move to the Fences report tab.
· Select the File:Print:Printer Setup menu item
· Change the Printer appropriately.
· Select the File:Page:Properties menu item and make sure the paper size property is set to 11x17, Tabloid, or B (it can vary between printers).
Changing the printer in Reports stores the setting. You can also change the printer at output time using the same steps but, like all changes at output time, the setting will only be in effect while that report is current and will revert to the value set in Reports.
2. The logo at the lower right of the drawing is one of the standard
discrete graphics that is shipped with gINT (BIO_HAZARD). If your
logo is also a discrete graphic, bring up the properties on the
BIO_HAZARD symbol (Modify:Entity Properties) and replace BIO_HAZARD
with your logo name.
If your logo is a bitmap symbol, erase the BIO_HAZARD symbol, select the
Draw:Bitmap Symbol menu item and supply the following properties:
X: 8.375
Y: 0.375
Bitmap Symbol: Your logo name
Override Height: 0.6
Override Width: 0.6
Override Horz Align: Center
Override Vert Align: Middle
Also, mark the Show at design time check box if you wish to see the logo
in the report application.
3. The company information in the lower right is taken from the Company
Information dialog (Help:Company Information).
4. At output, a User Report Variables dialog will appear with the
following parameters:
Section Name: Example - Geologic Section. Appears at
lower right, below the company information.
Figure Title: Example - Round Mountain. This is optional
and allows you to include a second line of
text for the title of the Section. If you
leave this field blank the Section Name
entry will be centered vertically as one
line of text. Appears at lower right, below
the Section Name.
Section Label: Usually a letter - A or B, etc. Appears to
the right of the Section Name in the form
A-A' and at the upper left of the fence
frame as A and at the upper right as A'.
Direction Left: Example - NE. Appears at upper left of
fence frame.
Direction Right: Example - SW. Appears at upper right of
fence frame.
Plate Number: Example - A-1. Appears at far lower right
corner.
Site Map Scale Override: If outputing in English (Imperial) units,
if you wanted 1 inch to 2500 feet, you
would enter 2500. If outputing in
Metric units. If you wanted a ration of
1:20,000 you would enter 20,000. If left
blank (generally recommended), the report
will scale the site map so as to fit all
the printed boreholes. The parameter is
only used to override this default
behavior.
5. If there are no well graphics, the report shifts the location of the
lithology graphics column to the center of the fence post, shifts
the two water level symbols to match, and shifts the Lithology
Graphics legend to the right.
