While at Cornell University, Mr. Caronna performed sophisticated soil laboratory testing as a research assistant under Professor Dwight Sangrey.

As part of his masters degree studies while at UC Berkeley, Mr. Caronna served as a research assistant under Professor Michael Duncan, conducting three dimensional, non-linear, incremental loading computer analysis of the New Mellones Dam.

Mr. Caronna has worked as a geotechnical consultant on numerous projects including the Alaska oil pipeline, investigations for major expansions of the Saudi Arabian cities of Jizan and Jubail, the Mecca to Medina Dual Carriage Highway, and the Saudi Arabia to Bahrain Causeway.

On the Jizan project Mr. Caronna created an electronic database for all laboratory and field information collected during the investigation. From this database, reports in the form of logs, tables, and graphs were generated along with sophisticated data analyses.

Today Mr. Caronna serves as president of gINT Software. He is the senior executive in charge of the overall software architecture of all gINT products and oversees the management of the company. He leads the gINT consulting services team and remains closely involved in the company's university outreach programs.
